Christopher J. Awwad, DO

Christopher J. Awwad, DO, is a family medicine physician and Medical Director of the LGBTQ+ Health and Wellness Center at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center and One Bergen Health. He received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine — Bradenton and completed his family medicine residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Health, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Awwad specializes in comprehensive care for the LGBTQ+ community, HIV prevention, sexual health, and primary care.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Awwad serves as Chief Physician Executive of Bergen New Bridge Medical Center and President of One Bergen Health, P.C. In these roles, he helps guide ambulatory clinical operations, program development, and service line growth.
