John Hanna, MD, is a vascular neurologist focused on rapid evaluation and evidence-based treatment for patients with stroke and complex cerebrovascular conditions. He partners with emergency teams, inpatient units, and outpatient providers to support timely diagnosis, coordinated care planning, and clear communication with patients and families. Dr. Hanna has led systemwide stroke program development and quality improvement initiatives, including protocol standardization and tele-stroke coverage to expand access to expert stroke care. He completed neurology residency and vascular neurology fellowship training at Montefiore Medical Center and remains committed to advancing stroke readiness, prevention, and recovery for the communities we serve.
