Mohamed M. Elagami, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician with subspecialty training in general gastroenterology and hepatology. He evaluates and treats a wide range of digestive and liver conditions, providing thorough assessments and developing evidence-based care plans tailored to each patient. Dr. Elagami delivers both consultative and hospital-based gastroenterology care and actively performs a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy, bleeding control, variceal banding, polypectomy, and endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR). He also conducts specialized tests such as capsule endoscopy and Bravo studies. In addition, Dr. Elagami is dedicated to teaching and team-based care, supervising and supporting physicians-in-training.
