Raafat Barsoom, MD

Raafat Barsoom, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who joined the Bergen New Bridge Medical Center staff in 2025. He currently serves as Assistant Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Holy Name Hospital, where he leads initiatives to improve patient safety, physician scheduling, and quality assurance. Dr. Barsoom brings decades of clinical experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered emergency care.

In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Barsoom provides peer review and medical-legal consulting services. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has held licensure in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
