Shoaib Ahmad, MD

Shoaib Ahmad, MD, is a board-certified physician in pulmonary medicine, critical care, and internal medicine. He joined the Bergen New Bridge Medical Center staff in 2023. Dr. Ahmad brings extensive experience in managing complex respiratory and essential conditions of care, with a strong academic background and a passion for clinical research.

He completed his fellowship and residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Ahmad has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented at national conferences on topics including bronchial artery aneurysms, enteral feeding, and rare oncologic presentations. His clinical interests include acute respiratory failure, sepsis management, and pulmonary complications in immunocompromised patients.
