Svetlana Zakharchenko, DO

Svetlana Zakharchenko, DO, has experience as an attending physician at both community and academic emergency departments. She is also the founder of FOCUS Ultrasound Solutions LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to supporting community hospitals in building robust infrastructures for effective POCUS utilization. Dr. Zakharchenko is an Ultrasound Specialist and a graduate of the ACEP teaching fellowship, having spent a considerable portion of her career teaching POCUS and managing an ultrasound division in an extensive hospital network. She speaks nationally and internationally, is a board member of the NJ ACEP state chapter, a Chair of the ACEP System-Wide-Ultrasound subcommittee, a published researcher, and a contributor to the national ACEP Ultrasound Guidelines. Dr. Zakharchenko is passionate about innovative teaching, global health, and building sustainable POCUS systems from the ground up.
