Your Well-Being Matters: Adult and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs for Eating Disorders

Our program provides individualized care in a warm, supportive environment for individuals of all genders, aged 13 and older, who struggle with their eating patterns and relationships with food. We focus on balance and well-being.

Adult IOP for Eating Disorders

Our Adult Intensive Outpatient Program runs on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 11 am to 2 pm for individuals 18 years and older. This program focuses on nurturing physical and emotional well-being, helping patients establish a positive relationship with food, enhance their body image, and understand the role of nutrition in overall health. Our goal is to restore balance to mind and body, empowering you to lead a fulfilling, productive life.

Adolescent IOP for Eating Disorders

We also offer an Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals under 13 and older. This program meets on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 4 pm to 7 pm and provides age-appropriate care to support young people on their recovery journey.

Treatment Includes:

  • Nutritional Counseling: Our registered dietitians help patients develop a healthier relationship with food, teaching sustainable habits for long-term wellness.
  • Individual Psychotherapy: In individual therapy, each patient works with a board-certified psychiatrist for medication management as needed and eating disorder-trained social workers and counselors for weekly individual therapy
  • Family Support: We offer sessions to help loved ones better understand the recovery process and provide support.
  • Intensive Outpatient Services: Three-day-a-week intensive outpatient treatment is available for those who need additional support

Conditions Treated Include:

  • Anorexia Nervosa
  • ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
  • Binge Eating Disorder
  • Bulimia Nervosa
  • OSFED (Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder)
  • Orthorexia

We designed our programs to help individuals overcome disordered eating and build healthier, more balanced habits for both physical and emotional well-being.

Eligibility and Insurance

We carefully review all patient referrals to ensure our program is a good fit. Our program accepts most commercial insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. We also offer financial assistance, including charity care, for qualifying patients.

Additional Considerations from Leading Eating Disorder Programs:

  • Multidisciplinary Team Approach: In addition to nutritional counseling and psychotherapy, we incorporate care from a team of registered nurses and social workers to support all aspects of recovery.
  • Mindfulness and Coping Skills: Our programs integrate mindfulness practices, yoga, and other coping strategies to help manage stress and build a healthy mindset.
  • Relapse Prevention: Our IOP emphasizes relapse prevention strategies and offers ongoing support through aftercare services and support groups.

By providing a comprehensive approach to treatment, we ensure that you are supported at every step, addressing both the psychological and physical aspects of recovery.
