Long Term Care's Commitment to LGBTQ+ Community

In Long Term Care/Post Acute Care, we are a safe environment where those who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community are provided with skilled nursing care 24 hours a day/7 days a week, in a supportive environment without fear of discrimination. Our goal in Long Term Care is to focus on providing high-level quality care and quality of life in an inclusive person-centered care environment.

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center does not discriminate and does not permit discrimination, including, but not limited to, bullying, abuse or harassment, on the basis of actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, intersex adults or HIV status, or based on association with another individual on account of that individual's actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, intersex status or HIV status. You may file a complaint with the Office of the State LTC Ombudsman if you believe you have experienced this kind of discrimination.
