Puentes Nuevos de Salud is Bergen New Bridge Medical Center’s Latino Health Institute. We are here to help Latino individuals and families access care, understand their health, manage chronic conditions, and connect with resources that support the whole person. Our care is built around trust, language, culture, family, and community.

Many Latino families face barriers that can make it harder to get care early. These barriers may include language, transportation, insurance, work schedules, food access, housing instability, and limited access to preventive services. These challenges can lead to higher rates of diabetes, heart disease, obesity, asthma, depression, and anxiety. We exist to help change that.
