Bergen New Bridge Medical Center to Sponsor May Blood Drive

The Medical Center has partnered with Vitalant to help address the critical shortage of blood

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center has partnered with Vitalant to respond to the urgent need for blood within our community by hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 11am to 6pm in the Vaccination Annex location.

“Blood supplies remain critically low, and we encourage our community to join our many staff members who will be donating blood during our drive,” said Bergen New Bridge President and CEO, Deborah Visconi. “Every donation saves lives, and it will take all of us working together to make sure we have sufficient supplies for those in need.”

Donors will receive a Target gift card and a special appreciation gift and light refreshments will be provided. Donors must weigh at least 110 pounds, eat a meal before donating, bring identification and drink plenty of water both before and after donating.
