Bergen New Bridge Medical Center CEO Named to 2025 Health Care Power List by NJBIZ
Deborah Visconi was named to list of leading healthcare professionals in New Jersey
Bergen New Bridge Medical Center President & CEO Deborah Visconi was named to the NJBIZ 2025 Health Care Power List. Visconi was recognized for her leadership of New Jersey’s largest hospital and the fourth largest publicly owned hospital in the nation.
“It is a profound honor to be named to the NJBIZ 2025 Health Care Power List as this recognition not only celebrates my work but the work of everyone at the Medical Center,” said Deborah Visconi, President and CEO, Bergen New Bridge Medical Center. “Being named to this list acknowledges what we have accomplished over the last seven and a half years and the incredible transformational journey we have been on to provide high-quality, compassionate care to all those we serve.”
With Visconi’s organizational and strategic planning expertise, Bergen New Bridge has expanded programs and services, and enhanced provider relations yielding improvement in quality, safety, and patient/resident experience. The Medical Center has been recognized as a ‘Top Hospital’ and ‘Top Teaching Hospital’ by the Leapfrog Group. The Medical Center has been recognized as a Top Diversity Leader by Modern Healthcare, received the Empowering Women Award from NJBIZ, and Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality in the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Healthcare Equality Index (HEI). The Joint Commission awarded Bergen New Bridge its Advanced Certification in Health Equity.
