Patient Financial Assistance
The Bergen New Bridge Medical Center’s mission is to ensure that all patients receive emergency and medically necessary hospital services regardless of their ability to pay. Financial assistance and discount programs are available for eligible patients. These programs cover medically necessary hospital services. However, these programs may not cover physician, radiology interpretation, or anesthesiology fees.
To apply for financial assistance, you can schedule an appointment with our Financial Assistance Representatives at CentralScheduling@newbridgehealth.org or by calling 201.225.7130. Our team will review and process the financial assistance application and advise you of the best options for you and your family.
If you do not qualify for Medicaid or Charity Care, contact our Patient Financial Services department at PFS@newbridgehealth.org or call 201.967.4200 for more information on the Compassionate Care Self-Pay discounts application.

What You Need to Know
If you are determined to no longer have Medicaid coverage, we can help. We have certified professionals who can help enroll our patients in various financial assistance programs, including Medicaid.
Patient Financial Assistance continuously has open appointments to assist patients with the application process.
A Bergen County Board of Social Services caseworker is on-site at the Medical Center to assist with applications Monday through Thursday from 8 am to noon. For Long Term Care residents and their families, a caseworker is available for appointments Monday through Thursday from 1 pm to 5 pm.
