Arshia Abbasi, MD,is board certified by the American Board in Internal Medicine with Nephrology board certification as well. She received her Bachelor’s degree from St. Peter’s University and Master’s degree from Rutgers University in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. She was accepted at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where she stayed for her Internship/Residency in Internal Medicine.
She worked as a Hospitalist for two years at Ocean Medical Center in Brick before going back for her Fellowship in Nephrology at Rutgers University Hospital. She was a part of private practice in Nephrology for 3.5 years before joining Rutgers – Bergen New Bridge Medical Center.

Varsha Dandavate, MD, is a physician specializing in infectious disease who recently joined Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She is board certified in internal medicine and infectious disease. Dr. Dandavate earned her medical degree and Doctor of Medicine in dermatology and venereology from The University of Bombay (Mumbai), India.
She then completed her residency in internal medicine at Saint Joseph Hospital Chicago, Illinois, affiliated with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Next, she went on to complete her postdoctoral fellowship in infectious disease from Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
